Our Mission
The Forgotten Melodies Society is a hub for music that time overlooked but deserves to be heard. We uncover, preserve, and celebrate hidden masterpieces—compositions that slipped through the cracks of history yet shimmer with beauty. Through performance, education, and collaboration, we ensure these works find their audience and inspire new generations.

Our Treasury of Lost Melodies
At the heart of our work lies our growing "Treasury"—a curated collection waiting to be rediscovered, divided into two unique archives:
Forgotten Gems by Famous Composers
Explore rarely played works by celebrated composers - those hidden pieces that never entered the standard repertoire.
Overlooked Voices
Discover remarkable composers whose names history neglected, yet whose music shines with equal brilliance.
Why does this matter?
Because every neglected piece of music holds a story - whether by a familiar name we thought we knew completely, or by a creator we're only now discovering. Each deserves its moment to be heard.

About the Founder
The Forgotten Melodies Society was founded by Nikita Demidenko, a musician dedicated to giving voice to music’s forgotten narratives. At its core lies a dual mission: to rescue worthy compositions from obscurity while providing young conservatoire musicians with opportunities to showcase their talent . More than just a performance platform, the Society actively encourages emerging artists to explore beyond standard programming - whether uncovering neglected works by established masters or championing completely unknown composers. This unique approach not only expands performers’ artistic horizons but breathes new life into musical heritage that might otherwise remain silent.
The Forgotten Melodies Society is passionately curated by Nikita Demidenko—a musician and advocate for music’s overlooked treasures. From discovering rare scores to organizing performances, Nikita oversees every aspect of the Society’s work, driven by the belief that great music deserves to be heard, whether it’s gathering dust in archives or simply waiting for its first performance in centuries.
